The Forum serves as ALGA’s highest level executive convening, bringing together chief executives, regulatory authorities and industry leaders to engage directly on matters that shape the direction of the sector. It is not a ceremonial gathering, but a governance mechanism designed to align leadership thinking, interrogate emerging risks, strengthen regulatory coherence and advance sustainable market development across jurisdictions.
The African Lotteries and Gaming Association (ALGA) convened its first ever CEOs Forum, under the theme, ‘The Black Table’, coinciding at a pivotal moment in Africa’s gambling landscape. Across the continent, regulatory, technological, and societal shifts were accelerating or rather being realised - making it increasingly evident that the gaming and lotteries ecosystem could no longer exist in isolation, but required collective stewardship and
a unified continental approach.
